In Book 3, Misk tells us how he would choose to live:

"I would choose so to live that I might be willing that I should live that life a thousand times, even forever. I would choose so to live that I might stand boldly with my deed without regret throughout eternity."---Priest-Kings, p. 316

A lot of what could be said here is dealt with on other pages within this website, but here are some thoughts on being Free on Gor, especially if You are new here:

Walk in Honor always. Say what You mean, and mean what You say. Goreans live Their Honor.

Observe quietly. Do not presume to impose in a situation where You do not know the details, or the culture. Even if You are of Camp, do not EVER interfere between a Master and His kajira. Ask questions. The Ubar, the Council, and most Members here will cheerfully answer. Do not despair if You get different answers to the same questions. Just as We are all unique individuals on Earth, so are We all unique individuals on Gor. Keep asking until You understand. If a question cannot be answered to Your satisfaction in Camp, email to temji@yahoo.com.

Be mindful of Your status. This applies to All, especially Freewomen, dealt with in detail elsewhere. A Free on Gor does NOT teasingly discuss ko-lars, branding, etc. A Freewoman does NOT willingly and knowingly place Her freedom in jeopardy, even in teasing.

As a Visitor, You are entitled to food, drink, and conversation...no more than that. You will be asked to leave Your weapons at the Stone. Do so. When You ask for food or drink, give three to five ehn for responses. Allow for lag time. We nearly always have a Member at the Home Stone, and He will help if You just ask.

Be knowledgeable quickly on Who is a Member of Council. These are the folks who vote on membership. Introduce Yourself.

Do not send private messages without prior permission, and do not presume to discipline the girls of Tuchuk. Girls in Camp ko-lar are disciplined ONLY by the Ubar, Council, and SylverDawn. If You have any complaints, log them with the Senior Member present, and again, the email addy is open to All.
