A girl will be tested on her knowledge of Gorean foods and drink. She should strive to know the basics. Everything is pretty much covered on the Camp's Foods and Drinks Scrolls.

Be prepared to talk about what sort of animals bosk, vulo, tarsk, verr, and tabuk are and their Earth equivalents. (i.e., bosk = beef, vulo = poultry).

"On Gor, the female slave, desiring her master, yet sometimes fearing to speak to him, frightened that she may be struck, has recourse upon occasion to certain devices, the meaning of which is generally established and cuturally well understood, to kneel before the master and put her head down and lift her arms, offering him fruit, usually a larma, or a yellow Gorean peach, ripe and fresh."---Tribesman, p. 8

A girl may also be questioned about other basic foods like sa-tarna, cheese, fruits, (know: tospit and larma, and the special significance of the larma) and suls.

"The expression 'second slave,' incidentally, serves to indicate that one does not wish creams or sugars with one's black wine, even if only one girl is serving."---Guardsman, pp. 244-245

As for drinks, a girl will probably be asked about paga, black wine (be prepared to explain what "second slave" means), bazi tea, and ka-la-na.

Thanks are given to eilid for the kettle primer
