If a girl's offer to serve is ignored, she should continue to kneel awaiting a response for a respectable length of time. Then politely re-post the offer, realizing that the Master in question may have accidentally missed the first offer. If the second offer also goes unacknowledged, a girl can post something like "seeing the Master is busy now, this girl respectfully backs away." She should then continue offering serves to Others present.

If the Master in question comments negatively, or acts offended, a girl should apologize (Yes, even though she has done nothing technically wrong she still apologizes.) and re-offer the serve as promptly as she can.
