Tower

A slave kneels with her knees modestly together, back straight, eyes lowered. Her palms rest down upon her thighs.

Example:

~eilid sinks to her knees at the edge of Master's furs, the tender peach flesh of her thighs kiss as she sits back on her heels. Small hands rest softly on her thighs as she lifts her chin and her shoulders fall back, a fringe of dark lashes shading her carefully lowered eyes.~

"The position of the tower slave, in most cities, is very similar to that of the pleasure slave. The major difference is that the tower slave, whose duties are commonly, primarily, domestic, kneels with her knees in a closed position, whereas the pleasure slave, in a symbolic recognition of the fuller nature of her bondage and its most significant aspects, kneels with them in open position."---Blood Brothers, p. 107

Nadu

A slave kneels with her thighs spread wide, her back arched, her head held high and her eyes lowered submissively. She lays her hands palms up on her thighs.

~eilid sinks to her knees at the edge of Master's furs, knees sliding apart as she rests back on her heels, the tender peach flesh of her inner thighs exposed to the One who owns her. Small pale hands lightly stroke the velvety skin of her thighs, then turn and come to rest with palms cupped to the sky as she arches her back proudly, a fringe of dark lashes veil carefully lowered eyes.~

Karta

A slave kneels, thighs wide, leans forward placing forehead on floor, arms extended, palms to floor, ankles crossed or uncrossed according to Master's wish.

Example:

~eilid sinks to her knees fluidly at the edge of Master's furs. she blushes softly and lowers her eyes as her knees slide apart on the soft furs. She leans forward, small firm rask rising as she presses her forehead to the furs, wild dark waves tumbling forward to veil her face. Softly trembling, pale arms extend upward, resting palms down on the furs.~

Bara

A slave lays on her belly, forehead to floor, ankles crossed, wrists crossed in the small of her back.

Example:

~eilid moves gracefully to lie with her belly on the furs, stretching her lean form and crossing slender ankles. As she presses her forehead to the furs, she slides her hands, palm up, to the small of her back and crosses delicate wrists.~

"Bara, Kajira!" he said. She rolled quickly to her stomach, placing her wrists behind her, crossed, and crossing her ankles, ready to be bound."

Ko-lar

A slave kneels, sitting on her heels, arms extend upward, wrists crossed, head bowed. Ko-lar can be done from nadu or tower.

Example:

~eilid sinks to her knees at the edge of Master's furs, the tender peach flesh of her thighs kiss as she sits back on her heels. Head bows respectfully as graceful pale arms rise and cross delicately at the wrist for binding.~

In doing positions, a girl needs to think about how she looks and feels, as well as how she would actually move as she demonstrates each position. It helps for some girls to actually do the positions in R/T so that they can better describe the flow of their movements.

Also, a girl needs to keep her descriptions as concise as possible. When a command is given to assume a position, a Master expects it to be obeyed promptly.

Simply repeating what is written in the Camp Scrolls or in this primer will not work for testing. A girl needs to think about the way she moves and use her own words. A girl will need to "do" the positions similarly to the way eilid demonstrated them in her examples.
