Red Diamond Arrowheads (Cost: 29G)

Each arrowhead has been meticulously cut from red diamond of Schendi and honed to extreme sharpness. The shape was designed to assist in flight and penetration. The arrowhead is triangular with a wedged thickness, beginning with the thinnest at the sharpened blade tip to the thickest at the shaft-mounting notch. Hooked barbs at the last 1/3 of the rear side edges of the blade prevent removal. Each arrowhead was mounted on high-quality shafts by a Master Fletcher. Quantity of 12.

Emerald Silver Calf Daggers (Cost: 40G)

Designed to be worn on the calf, the matched pair of daggers was fashioned from silver alloy. Each blade length is 12” with a handle of 6”. The cross-guard was crafted in a clean, simple design to prevent snagging on garments. In the center of each cross-guard was inset a smooth, round, deep green emerald. The hilt is wrapped in black leather and secured with steel wire. The butt cap was carved from a deep green emerald into the head of a snarling panther. The blade is double-edged and razor sharp, ending in a fine point. Each blade is engraved along its length with a crouching black panther. The scabbard for each was formed from black leather. For the interior, it was boiled to give it strength and to take the abuse of the daggers sliding in and out. The outside was finished in a sleek, smooth surface. Small slip-loops hold each dagger in its scabbard.

Hesa Dagger A (Cost: 18G)

This dagger was fashioned with a thin, 12-inch blade, as dark as a moonless night. The blade is hardened steel and edged the entire length. The guard is a cross guard shaped into two small spears sharp enough to pierce flesh. The hilt of the dagger is wrapped in black leather and bound with black wire to hold it in place. Under the leather is a depression to activate a release button that frees a 4-inch spring-loaded blade hidden in the hilt. The butt cap of the dagger hilt is a circular, faceted amethyst of rich, deep purple. It forms part of the hilt of the smaller blade within. The outside hilt has a smaller circular faceted amethyst encircled by leaves in gold to border it. The symbol of Hesa Circle is worked into this with amethyst and gold. On the outside surface of the scabbard are mounted in a vertical line a series of the Hesa Circle symbols in amethyst and gold to match the dagger.

Hesa Dagger B (Cost: 18G)

This dagger was crafted with a 12-inch blade made of hardened steel, as dark as a moonless night. The blade has several cutouts to lighten it, the edges of the cutouts sharpened to inflict more damage. The guard is a plain cross guard. The hilt is wrapped in black leather and bound with dark wire to hold it in place. Under the leather is a depression to activate a spring-released 4-inch blade hidden in the hilt. The butt cap of the dagger hilt is a circular, faceted amethyst of rich, deep purple. It forms part of the hilt of the smaller blade within. The outside hilt has a smaller circular faceted amethyst encircled by leaves in gold to border it. The symbol of Hesa Circle is worked into this with amethyst and gold. On the outside surface of the scabbard are mounted in a vertical line a series of the Hesa Circle symbols in amethyst and gold to match the dagger.

Shield and Heart Dagger (Cost: 306 DWG)

The blade is 12 inches long with a handle of six inches. A simple cross guard is wrapped in dark red leather, the leather held on with a fine gold wire wrapped along the length of the handle. The pommel is in the shape of a tarn with the wings spread to hold a gem. The gem is a sereem diamond carved and faceted into a shield silhouette. A letter “S” has been deeply engraved into it where is inset tiny, round, faceted rubies. The scabbard is black leather stiffened and made waterproof. All the rivets and the metal cap at the tip of each scabbard are of silver. The rings and buckles of the belt are also of silver. The leather is polished to a high shine. On the back of the scabbard has been added a silver plate engraved with shields and hearts all down the plate. On the front of the scabbard and down its length, has been set sereem diamond shields and hearts, as described above.

Ivy Dagger Sheath (Cost: 30G)

A medium green shade of emerald was cut into a faceted, round gem and set into the butt of the dagger hilt. The lighter shade of green catches the light and flashes bright green. A sheath was crafted of stiff leather in a warm, gold shade. A metal collar surrounds the top and a metal cap tips the blade end. The sheath is extra long on one side at the top to protect the leg from the pommel of the dagger. Along the outside side of the sheath, pieces of medium green emerald have been cut and set to form a graceful curling ivy vine. Small, round, faceted diamonds form delicate berries in clusters of three spaced evenly along the emerald ivy.

Gemstone Quivas (Cost: 60G)

In a reddish brown belt of the finest leather sits a set of seven quivas. Each quiva is 16” in length with a 10” blade and 6” hilt. The hilt has been shaped from bosk horn and aged until the color is a deep, golden yellow. The blades have been forged from star metal and are 2¼” wide. Each blade is double-edged and sharpened to razor keenness. The blades are so well balanced that they can be thrown or held in the hand for infighting. Each quiva has been given a butt cap fashioned of one of each gemstone of ruby, carnelian, amber, emerald, sapphire, amethyst, and tiger’s eye. The butt cap gems were carved as a smooth piece to allow for the gold inlaid letters of “Stones the Thunder.” On the hilt, the Sign of Thor, thunder and lightning, has been inlaid in the same gemstone that makes the butt cap for that quiva.

Gold Saddle Quivas (Cost: 27G)

Forged from star metal, each blade of the seven quivas is narrow and 7” long ending in a sharp point. Each blade is double-edged and razor sharp. They are well balanced and can be used as throwing blades. Each blade has been plated in silver and the guards are of a simple cross guard design. A deep gold leather belt was custom crafted to hold the set. Each quiva hilt has been fashioned in brass textured to resemble herlit feathers. The name “Gold Armor” has been engraved and inlaid in black onyx. Butt caps were crafted in rich gold colored topaz and faceted to catch the light. A herlit, a Gorean eagle, with wings outstretched, was engraved in black across the middle of both sides of the blades.

Jadeite Saddle Quivas (Cost: 17G)

Forged from sturdy steel, each blade of the seven quivas is narrow and 7” long ending in a sharp point. Each blade is double-edged and razor sharp. They are well balanced and can be used as throwing blades. Each blade has been plated in silver and the guards are of a simple cross guard design. A deep green leather belt was custom crafted to hold the set with access while riding. Each quiva hilt has been fashioned in brass to a nubby texture to ensure a good grip. The initials “LI” have been engraved and inlaid in soft green jadeite. Butt caps were crafted in soft green jadeite, smooth and rounded to enhance the cloudy quality. Three intertwined hearts were engraved in deep green across the middle of both sides of the blades.

Ruby Saddle Quivas (Cost: 80G)

Forged from sturdy steel, each blade of the seven quivas is narrow and 7” long ending in a sharp point. Each blade is double-edged and razor sharp. They are well balanced and can be used as throwing blades. Each blade has been plated in silver and the guards are of a simple cross guard design. A black leather belt was custom crafted to hold the set and have access while riding. Each quiva hilt has been fashioned in brass textured to resemble herlit feathers. The name initials “SM” have been engraved and inlaid in black onyx. Butt caps were crafted in warm blood ruby and faceted to catch the light. A herlit, a Gorean eagle, with wings outstretched, was engraved in black across the middle of both sides of the blades.

Saddle Quivas (Cost: 50G)

Forged from high-grade steel by Haijin the Weapon Smith of Shadow Talon, each blade of the seven quivas is narrow and 7” long ending in a sharp point. Each blade is double-edged and razor sharp. They are well balanced and can be used as throwing blades. Each blade has been plated in silver and the guards are of a simple cross guard design. A black leather belt was custom crafted to hold the set and have access to it while riding. Each quiva hilt has been fashioned in brass textured in a fine diamond cross-hatch pattern to encourage a non-slip grip. The butt caps were crafted in one precious stone each of wine-red ruby, rich gold topaz, deep green emerald, bright blue sapphire, deep purple amethyst, clear diamond, and black onyx faceted to catch the light. A larl, stretched into a run, was engraved in black across the middle of both sides of the blade.

Tarnsman Quivas (Cost: 65 DWG)

Forged from high-grade steel by Haijin, the Weapon Smith of Shadow Talon, each blade of the seven quivas is narrow and 7” long ending in a sharp point. Each blade is double-edged and razor sharp. They are well balanced and can be used as throwing blades. The cross-guards are of a simple design and fashioned of brass. Each quiva hilt has been fashioned in brass textured in a fine diamond cross-hatch pattern to encourage a non-slip grip. The butt caps were carved into perching owls from deep green emerald. An owl attacking from flight is engraved in black along the length of one side of each blade. A black leather belt was custom crafted to hold the set and have access to it while riding. Small, gold tarns were molded from gold with tiny emeralds as eyes. The gold tarns are spaced in such a way as to resemble studding when viewed from a distance.

Gold and Emerald Sword (Cost: 66 DWG)

Haijin the Weapon Smith forged a high-grade steel blade measuring 30” in length, angling suddenly to a sharpened point. It is double edged, each side of the blade honed to a razor sharp edge. The blade was engraved in black with three owls that move from flight to attack descent with talons outstretched. The hilt was crafted of sturdy brass and wrapped in black leather with warm, gold brass wire binding the leather in place. The cross-guard was fashioned of brass into a single tarn talon on each side, the clawed tip sharp enough to gouge. The butt cap was carved into the shape of a perching owl from a single piece of rich green emerald. Set into the center of the cross-guard on both sides is a star emerald carved into the shape of a bird’s eye. Above each eye are engraved the initials, “TtD/KM.” The scabbard was crafted of high-grade steel overlaid in gold. A replaceable insert of leather within protects the sword from becoming nicked from chaffing metal against metal. A slip-loop was attached to the head of the scabbard to prevent the sword from sliding from it. The outer side of the scabbard was molded in gold into a battle scene of two tarnsmen flying at each other, their lances at the ready. Each tarn possesses a faceted emerald eye. Spaced and inset at regular intervals are round, faceted emeralds in a deep, rich green. The spacing creates a frame around the battle scene. The side that rests against the body was molded with a smooth surface and polished to a bright golden gleam. The title, “Tarake, the Defender,” was molded in block letters in gold below the upper rim of the scabbard on the outer side.

Gold and Opal Swords (Cost: 350 DWG)

Two short swords were crafted with an overall length of 28 inches and a hilt length of 6 inches. The blades are 22 inches in length, 3½ inches wide at the hilt and widening to 5½ inches at the tip. They are double-edged and razor keen, narrowing to a sharp point for thrusting. Forged from an alloy of steel and star metal, the blade holds an excellent edge. The hand guard is a circular piece of steel 1¾ inches wide. On one side of each blade, a tarn, with talons outstretched and attacking from flight, has been engraved in black. The hilts and scabbards were overlaid in gold and textured to resemble tarn feathers. The butt cap of each sword hilt is set with a round, faceted sapphire in a shade that matches the opals that adorn the scabbard. On the hilt, initials have been molded in relief for SB (Shaz) on one and GT (Gar) on the other. The outside of each scabbard shows a vertical row of evenly spaced, oval-shaped opals in a rich blue shade. The side worn against the body is textured only with no gems.

Shield and Heart Sword (Cost: 3,757 DWG)

The sword has a 36-inch blade, double-edged, for 3/4 its length. A simple cross guard with a handle 16 inches in length is wrapped in dark red leather, the leather held on with a fine gold wire wrapped along the length of the handle. The pommel is in the shape of a tarn with the wings spread to hold a gem. The gem is a sereem diamond carved and faceted into a shield silhouette. A letter “S” has been deeply engraved into it where is inset tiny, round, faceted rubies. The scabbard is black leather stiffened and made waterproof. All the rivets and the metal cap at the tip of each scabbard are of silver. The rings and buckles of the belt are also of silver. The leather is polished to a high shine.
