COLLARING

This is the basic ceremony to collar a slave. It can be changed to suit each place and their ways.

  1. Master: "Assume the posture of female submission."

  2. Kajira: Kneels, leaning back on her heels, her arms extended, wrists crossed, her head between them, down.

  3. Master: "Repeat after Me, "This girl, once (her name) of (her home city or town, or of Earth)..."

  4. Kajira: Repeats this.

  5. Master: "...herewith submits herself, completely and totally, in all things..."

  6. Kajira: Repeats this.

  7. Master: "...to Him who is known as (his name) of (his camp)..."

  8. Kajira: Repeats this.

  9. Master: Produces the collar. If it is engraved with His name or an inscription, He reads it to her, making sure that she understands what it says and means. He places it about her neck and snaps it shut with a click.

  10. Master: "This girl is Yours, Master."

  11. Kajira: Repeats.

  12. At this point, any Free Persons in attendance will typically congratulate the Master on his new slave. When this is done, the Master will usually ask the slave the following three questions:

  13. Master: "Who were you?"

  14. Kajira: Tells him her former name.

  15. Master: "What are you?"

  16. Kajira: "This girl is Your slave, Master."

  17. Master: "What is the girl's name?"

  18. Kajira: "Whatever Master wishes."

  19. Master: "You are (new slave name)."

  20. Kajira: "Yes, Master. This girl is (new slave name)."

  21. The ceremony is now over.
