Jadeite Barrettes (Cost: 4G)

Sturdy silver alloy was molded into a slender rectangular bar 3” long and 1/3” wide with a long, slightly curved piece that acts to hold the barrette in the hair when it is closed at the curved stub. Four jadeite hearts carved in one piece is mounted on the silver bar.

Sapphire Barrettes (Cost: 65G)

Sturdy silver alloy was molded into a slender rectangular bar 3” long and 1/3” wide with a long, slightly curved piece that acts to hold the barrette in the hair when it is closed at the curved stub. Four square, faceted sapphires are mounted on the silver bar to give them a diamond shape.

Amethyst Belly Jewel (Cost: 4S)

A dark purple amethyst was intricately cut into a faceted, five-point star with the rear surface smooth and slightly curved to allow for the contour of a girls’ belly button. Silver was smelted into a snug five-point star as a platform for the back of the belly jewel to allow for maximum skin contact for the adhesive. The jewel is designed to set into the contour of a girl’s belly button with a minimum of external bulge. The total size of the piece is 1” in diameter. Adhesive is applied evenly to the belly jewel and carefully pressed into the belly button with the center of the star aligned with the center of the belly button. Hold for the count of 30 while the adhesive sets. The adhesive is resistant to heat and liquids, including perspiration and oil. The adhesive is not poisonous to the skin or damaging to the lungs. Do not ingest it. When the jewel is to be removed, solvent is applied by dripping it under the upper edge and peeling the jewel away as the adhesive dissolves. More solvent is used to clean a girl’s skin and the jewel of any adhesive residue. A girl should cleanse skin and jewel with soap and water to remove the solvent. Lotion is recommended for a girl’s skin, as the solvent has a drying effect. The solvent is not poisonous to the skin or damaging to the lungs. Do not ingest.

Opal Heart Belly Jewel (Cost: 24G)

A yellow gold, heart-shaped base was crafted with the rear surface smooth and slightly curved to allow for the contour of a girls’ belly button and to allow for maximum skin contact for the adhesive. The jewel is designed to set into the contour of a girl’s belly button with a minimum of external bulge. The total size of the piece is 1-1/2” in diameter. An oval opal was mounted in the middle with tiny, round, faceted diamonds, rubies, and sapphires outlining the opal, in the order of diamond/ruby/sapphire in a repeated pattern.

Crystal Ware Set (Cost: 16G)

This clear lead crystal ware set was blown and shaped to display facets on all outer surfaces. Sturdy storage boxes were fashioned for the safe storage and transportation of the set. Each piece has its own sapphire blue velvet storage bag. The inside of the lid of each storage box shows which items are stored in that box and how they are stacked. The outside of each box was carved with moons and flowers. The pieces of the set are as follows: 10 dinner plates; 10 soup bowls; 10 medium goblets; 10 large mugs; 2 large serving platters; 2 small serving platters; 2 large serving bowls; 2 small serving bowls; 1 large soup tureen; 1 sauce boat.

Green Crystal Ware Set (Cost: 20G)

This rich, emerald green lead crystal eating ware set was blown, shaped and cut to display facets, similar to Waterford crystal, on all outer surfaces. Sturdy storage boxes were fashioned for the safe storage and transportation of the set. Each piece has its own deep green velvet storage bag. The inside of the lid of each storage box shows which items are stored in that box and how they are stacked. The outside of each box was carved with a woodland scene. Dragon Eyes (Cost: 78 DWG)

Eye sockets and eyebrows are fashioned from gold. The eyebrows for the dragon head are a long, feathery arch trailing along the side of the head, resembling whiskers. Along the brow ridge there are tiny, faceted, almond-shaped pigeon blood rubies placed tip-to-tip reaching to the temples. The gold is extended to the edge of the eye socket. Within each eye socket is a faceted, almond-shaped pigeon blood ruby. Each eye is set at an angle to emphasize the slanted effect.

Sapphire Eyebrow Jewels (Cost: 32G)

Round faceted, rich blue sapphires ¼” in diameter were mounted singly in cup settings on gold alloy disk backings designed for use with dancer adhesive. There are 16 jewels in the set, eight for each eyebrow. Extra jewels may be used as skin jewels elsewhere on the body.

Fire Opal Forehead Jewel (Cost: 7G)

A red fire opal cut into an oval dangles from a small, red gold, cabochon oval and is fastened by special adhesive to the skin. A belly jewel 1” in diameter in a smooth round shape was crafted to match the forehead jewel. Adhesive is applied evenly to the back of the gold dangle and carefully pressed into the skin of the forehead. Hold for the count of 30 while the adhesive sets. The adhesive is resistant to heat and liquids, including perspiration and oil. The adhesive is not poisonous to the skin or damaging to the lungs. Do not ingest it. A rich blue, sapphire cut into a faceted teardrop dangles from a small gold cabochon oval and is fastened by special adhesive to the skin. Dancer’s solvent is used to remove it.

Wolf Grooming Set (Cost: 5G)

Crafted in silver, the hairbrush bristles were fashioned from tarsk boar hair. The handle is a running wolf molded in relief with glowing orange opal eyes. The back of the brush shows a wolf’s head facing in calm appraisal, its almond-shaped eyes of milky blue opal. The silver hand mirror back shows three wolves in molded relief, one standing on a stone shelf above the other two. The other two wolves are standing below the stone shelf that is the roof to their den. All three are howling at the three moons of Gor. The mirrored side has scarlet, orange, yellow, blue, white, and black opal silhouettes of wolf heads inset into the silver frame around the mirror. The handle is molded into the shape of a wolf in full run with almond-shaped eyes of iridescent black opals. The silver comb spine is wide to give it endurance for use. The spine is molded into a running wolf. The eyes are almond-shaped blue opals. The ground that it runs upon is small, rectangular chips of scarlet, orange, yellow, blue, white, and black opal. The set is stored in a silver-inlaid, wooden box showing the three howling wolves in molded relief in the precious metal. There is a silver alloy hasp closure with a delicate chain holding a notched lock pin.

Shell Grooming Set (Cost: 5G)

Crafted in silver, the hairbrush bristles were fashioned from tarsk boar hair. The hand and back of the brush show shells floating on waves of a sea. The shells have been constructed in mosaic with mother of pearl pieces to give pearly sheen and color. The mirror back shows the same shell motif. The silver comb spine is wide to give it endurance for use. The spine also shows the mother of pearl shell motif. The set is stored in a silver-inlaid, wooden box showing the shell motif in only the precious metal.

Onyx and Pearl Kaissa Board (Cost: 5G)

Using the total square size of a 10x10 kaissa board, a bronze box was cast to hold black onyx and white mother-of-pearl squares crafted by Dache’. The box has drawers on two sides and of equal depth that will hold the playing pieces. The two drawer fronts are inlaid with black onyx on one side and mother-of-pearl on the other. This is to show which pieces are to be stored in which drawer. Each drawer is lined with stuffed, quilted satin in the same color as the drawer front to help protect the pieces. Each drawer has a sturdy slip lock to secure each drawer for transport. On an upper side, a sturdy, solid bronze rotating handle is mounted into the box for carrying.

Sapphire Larls (Cost: 55 DWG)

Meticulously carved from Cosian sapphire of a bright blue hue, the male larl, six inches in length, sits back on its haunches, paws outstretched, similar to that of a bear. The muscles of his body show suppleness in the carving. His teeth are only partially bared in a good-natured larl grin. Only the tips of his claws can be seen in each paw. The claws, teeth and eyes were molded in warm, yellow gold and contrast brightly against the rich blue of the sapphire. The female, four inches in length, lies recumbent upon the ground and on her side, paws up in playful response to her mate. Her teeth also are bared in good-humored play. The Cosian sapphire she is carved from is a slightly lighter shade of blue than her mate. Her eyes, teeth and claws were molded from cool silver. The two sapphire larls sit in a carved base of a slab of tiger’s eye, rich with gold and brown striations. There are shallow depressions in the slab where the two larl figures sit for stability. The base slab is eight inches by four inches in size, carved with gentle, rolling geography.

Glass Marbles (Cost: 4S)

Heavy-duty glass was blown into ½” and ¾” spheres. Dyes and powdered gemstones were mixed to create a rich emerald green and warm amber gold color with a light sparkle. There are ten of the ½” size and one of the ¾” size for each of the two colors. A small, rectangular gold, two-piece box, fashioned to pull apart to open, holds two pieces of chalk. A reversible bag with a drawstring closure was sewn in gold and emerald satin. One side is emerald green with the letters “DS” in amber gold. The other side is reversed, with the letters being emerald green on amber gold.

Second Place Medal (Cost: 4G)

A gold medallion 3” in diameter was formed with smooth, slightly raised edge with smooth surface on both sides. Mounted on one side is the shield of the City of Thentis carved in rich, purple amethyst. The other side bears the likeness of a tarn in flight carved in rich, purple amethyst. Purple ribbon is threaded through a hole at the top of the medal.

Third Place Medal (Cost: 3G)

A gold medallion 2” in diameter was formed with smooth, slightly raised edge and smooth surface on both sides. Mounted on one side is the shield of the City of Thentis carved in lavender amethyst. The other side bears the likeness of a tarn in flight carved in lavender amethyst. Lavender ribbon is threaded through a hole at the top of the medal.

Gemstone Mug (Cost: 50G)

From a piece of deep blue star stone, gifted by Knight of the Night Sky, a planetary traveler, a large mug was carved. The stars of the night sky, small, circular, faceted diamonds, are inset into the mug as a staggered band 2 inches below the upper rim and spanning the entire outside surface. The three moons, amber-colored topaz, arranged are within the starry sky. A waterfall of tiny light blue sapphires flows out onto the plain, which is drawn with sandy light yellow topaz. Between the night sky and the plain, there is camped a wagon of gold. Into the surface of the gold wagon are the initials “DW” outlined in diamonds with a large diamond set in the space of the “D.”

Nexus Healing Needles (Cost: 5S)

Long needles 2 mm in diameter are formed of stainless steel. One end is sharpened to a fine point for easy insertion into the body and the other end is flattened. The flattened end has a number engraved in it corresponding to the length. The lengths included in the set are 6” to 26”, for a total of 22 needles in the set. A stainless steel tube was crafted for the entire set to be stored within when not in use. Points can be resharpened and the needle cleansed for reuse.

Poison Tester Needles (Cost: 5S)

Long needles 2 mm in diameter are formed into 26” long needles in the form of acupuncture needles from alloys researched from the original tester. One end is sharpened to a fine point for easy insertion into the body and the other end is flattened. The flattened end has a number engraved in it corresponding to the number of the poison being tested for: I, kanda root; II, snake venom; III, mandrake; IV, bloodroot; and V, ost venom.

Curve-bladed Scalpels (Cost: 5G)

The scalpels were constructed of stainless steel for durability and cleanliness. The blades have been crafted of silver to minimize the possibility of adverse reactions. There are two styles of blades: one with a right curve and one with a left curve. The curve in the blade lifts the cut material away from the surface for more efficient view of the work and ease of repair. Spare blades have been crafted for each curve and stored in molded heavy-duty glass protectors, five for each curve. Blades are changed by releasing a flip-lock pin mounted into the scalpel handle.

Green Crystal Silverware Set (Cost: 7G)

The functional end of the eating utensils were crafted from a sturdy silver alloy with a smooth, polished surface. The handles were crafted of rich emerald green lead crystal with facets cut into the surface. The cuts catch the light and flash green fire. The knives have good honed blades. A sturdy storage box was fashioned for the safe storage and transportation of the set. There are four lift-out trays that accommodate the utensils each in their own slot. The inside of the lid of the storage box shows a diagram of how each piece is to be stored. The outside of the storage box was carved with a woodland scene. The pieces of the set are as follows: 12 knives; 12 forks; 12 spoons; 1 large serving knife: 1 large serving fork; 2 large serving spoons; and 1 soup ladle.

Gold and Emerald Tarn Saddle (Cost: 50 DWG)

Ordered from a master leather smith, the tarn saddle was crafted in black leather with a smooth surface. Small, gold tarns were molded in gold with tiny emerald eyes and mounted on surfaces not prone to rubbing against other surfaces. From a distance the gold tarns look like studding, because of the way they are spaced.

Gold and Opal Tiara (Cost: 10G)

Crafted of gold alloy, the band of the tiara is ¼” wide, flaring into a heart-shaped crest of 2”. The band and crest were invert facet cut to catch and flash the light, as with facets. The crest is adorned with a central, oval-shaped Schendi opal ½” long and 3/8” wide. The heart crest is outlined in small, milky-white opals, ¼” long and 1/8” wide.

Opal and White Gold Tiara (Cost: 9G)

White gold was forged into a slender, thin and tapering piece that curves to fit between the forehead and the crown of the head as a tiara. It tapers from ½” at the slender part in the back to 1” at the crest. A single opal was mounted onto the flat surface at the center of the crest. Luxuriant, engraved ivy vine twines its way across the flat surface and encircles the opal. The engraving is filled with glittering diamond enamel to emphasize the vine.

Thentis Trophy (Cost: 199 DWG)

Gold was smelted and molded into the shape of a flying tarn 4’ tall and set on a rectangular base. The wings are half-stretched, as though pausing in preparation for a dive. Deep golden brown antique finishing was used to add shadowing to produce a more lifelike appearance. The crest, eyes, beak and talons were carved of rich purple amethyst and mounted with seamless precision. On the rectangular base is engraved and filled with rich amethyst enamel: THE GOLDEN TARN OF THENTIS. The tarn is a fierce beast, one of the fiercest known to Gor. When properly trained, at the hand of a good tarnsman, becomes one of the fiercest fighting machines on Gor. They are a noble beast and are the Pride of Thentis. In so winning this award, the Warrior has shown His Honor, Strength, Ferocity, and Heart, all attributes of a tarn and its Master. He will have fought hard to earn the right to be the Holder of the Golden Tarn of Thentis. Hai, Warriors! Hai, Thentis! (This trophy remains with the city)

Clear Vat Jar (Cost: 6G)

Six heavy-duty glass jars were individually blown to ensure exact proportions. The glass was mixed with a small portion of lead to allow even heating in the jar. The clear glass was also mixed to withstand sustained heat, as well as make it difficult to damage or break should it be struck or dropped. Each jar measures 3-1/2' diameter by 4' deep with straight sides and flat bottom. There are two glass handles equidistant from each other to aid in moving and positioning the jar and a lip around the top edge of each jar. A glass lid was fashioned for each that could be used for mixtures that require a cover during preparation. Each lid has two movable clamp latches in steel that securely clamp the lid to the jar lip. Two sliding pressure vents made of steel tension-mounted in the lid can be opened and closed to control pressure and heat within the jar.

Crystal Wind Chimes (Cost: 2G)

Clear crystal prisms of 1” equal-sided blown lead crystal triangles are suspended in three layers from long, ½” thick, rectangular bars. Suspended from the longest bar of 6”, prisms are evenly spaced to allow just enough room to swing. Successive bars of 5”, 4” and 3” create a gradual sloping effect with wind plates suspended from each prism to catch the slightest stirring of air. The glancing of prisms off each other creates a clear tinkling sound pleasing to the ear.

Musical Wind Chimes (Cost: 7G)

A round disk of black onyx ½” thick and 3” in diameter forms the hanging foundation for the different lengths of silver alloy tubes. The ½” diameter tubes are cut in eight lengths that form a chord in the key of C. Each tube has suspended beneath it a rectangular, flat, piece that catches the slightest stirring of air and encourages the tubes to glance off each other, causing the musical tones to sound. A generous silver alloy snap hook is attached above the onyx for hanging.
